The organization is overseen by a Board of Directors supported by an advisory council and dedicated staff. Working towards our vision of a world free of extreme poverty, our Board of Directors and Advisory Council are integral to this goal.
The Board
Majority (60%) of our board members are women. They are instrumental in ensuring Unfinished Agenda Africa meets its mission and vision through strategic leadership and guidance.
Secretary/ Executive director
Beatrice is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Unfinished Agenda Africa. She offers 10+ years of experience in organizational management to the organization. Her passion is combining management and innovation in high impact projects to improve the quality of life for people in Kenya. She views The Unfinished Agenda Africa mission-Poverty alleviation as a natural continuation of her previous work; the empowerment of disenfranchised populations. Beatrice was the Managing Director of SS Limited, a successful company in the service industry. At SS Limited, Beatrice was able to increase the annual turnover of the company from Ksh 5 million in 2016 to a record ksh 25 million as at 2022. Prior to that, Beatrice was a consultant, Kolum Consultancy firm in Nakuru Kenya. With this increasing levels of responsibility, over the years, she will be helping her teams at The Unfinished Agenda Africa deliver high impact results. Beatrice received her Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours (majoring in Finance) from Egerton University.
Advisory Board
The role of the Advisory Board is to support the mandate of the organization by providing external advice, analysis and reflection. Advisory council members also contribute to organizational development and best-practice standards. In addition, it provides advice as to the future direction of the organization in the context of strategy. Our Board of Directors and Advisory Board are made up of development specialists and project management experts who are highly respected in their fields. Mr. Geoffrey Rotich is the current chair of the Advisory Board.
Chairperson Advisory Board
Rotich is a recognized expert in development work in Kenya. Rotich holds a Masters Degree in Development Studies, community Development option with a distinction and is currently a Doctoral student in Development Studies, Mt Kenya University. He holds the position of Program Officer at African Institute for Capacity Development, where is in charge of program implementation at the Kenya Country Office. He has developed a solid reputation for successfully managing multi-million projects with precision. Rotich has been consulted by numerous organizations for different assignments due to his expertise. He has been a consultant for Self-Help Africa, Bio-Farm Alternatives among other NGOs in Kenya. Rotich has tangible experience in working with the poor and marginalized communities while implementing different projects in Kenya. In recent years, he has expanded his work to address issues of Resource Mobilization for local NGOs in Kenya. He is a member of Community Development Practitioners of Kenya (ACDP-K) and possess varied certifications in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation.

Program Officer, Education
As an education expert, Diana is involved in ensuring accessible and inclusive early Childhood Education for all children within our project areas. She ensures quality delivery of programmes and maintenance of high professional standards of all our Education Programmes. Diana has a wealth of experience in the Education Sector having served as a teacher for the last four years.
Program Officer, Livelihoods
Geoffrey is a Business Management graduate from Moi University. Under this role, He is responsible for enabling communities to have economic ways of enjoying a full life through successful and diverse livelihood options. He ensures that Communities in Target areas are able to explore new Livelihood opportunities. This includes economic empowerment, increased food production, value addition and access to markets, access to Credit and Finance.
Accountant
Daniel is a qualified Certified Accountant with a wealth of Experience in various organizations and sectors and has acquired wide and deep knowledge of business acumen and management skills. He a broad range of expertise in accounting, auditing and taxation. Daniel is highly analytical, result-driven and skilled at working quickly and accurately under tight deadlines. He is adept at all functions of accounting, including payroll , processing payments, managing accounts payable and providing executive administrative support.
Program Intern
Anastacia is a Bsc Graduate in Development Studies from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and technology. At The Unfinished Agenda Africa, she assists program team in coordinating variety of projects, functions and/or program components for the purpose of achieving organizational goals and objectives while receiving projects and program mentoring support.
